Husband bought me this book after a long day at work, and I cannot out it down. Has anyone else read this author?

The second of the Crimson Lake series and just as good as the first. The characters are interesting, especially Amanda who continues to intrigue. And the resolution was very satisfying. Looking forward to book three.
Book two in this crime thriller should make the perfect partner while I give the house a really deep clean. It‘s been needed for a long time and now I actually have time to do it.
Candice Fox did an amazing job writing these books. Set in Australia, the plots are unique and fast paced. There are multiple story lines in each book. All the characters are very colorful and the reader immediately gets sucked in to their lives and activities. Ted and Amanda make the PERFECT odd couple! I‘m looking forward to reading more books from this series!
Happy book birthday to Redemption Point! It‘s the second book in Candice Fox‘s Crimson Lake series. I‘m currently reading book one and loving it. Murder mysteries set in Australia? Yes, please!
Hi folks! I‘ve just popped up another #aussiesrule2018 post on the blog, talking about prompt 24 - Books shortlisted for the Ned Kellys, Stella‘s and Miles Franklin awards. Lots of TBR fodder for you!

This is the second in the Crimson Lake series. I enjoyed listening to it and revisiting Ted and Amanda. Whilst I didn't pick the murderers I did find some aspects obvious and the ending felt a bit similar to the first novel. Having said that I like how flawed the characters are and am always hoping good things for them.
The first book was an excellent read so I was happy to be given an ARC of the sequel. Unfortunately the story was quite disjointed at times and heavy going. I also find the character of Amanda exasperating rather than endearing. Rating: 3 ⭐️
TW - violence and paedophilic grooming of a child.
Thanks to NetGalley and publishers, Random House UK / Cornerstone, for the opportunity to review an ARC.
An enjoyable read. I feel that I got a lot more from his book having read Crimson Lake first so would definitely suggest that book first. It was nice to bring the story to a conclusion. Enjoyable but not earth shattering 💜
Hot off the presses (well some of them are) and into my hands, courtesy of my local library. #librarylove #libraryhaul #graphicnovel #australianwomenwriters
