Wow this is a short and fast paced read. The deaths are almost a blink and you miss it. I did figure out the killer but wasn't sure of their motive until the end. The ending was well done. The police are so terrible in this or I just read too much crime to know they handled it wrong. Klarinda is a good lead and I loved Myrtle. I would like to read more. So Christopher stole chips before he left. Does that make him not the killer? He doesn't have a new car, so who did send that money to Klarinda? Is Christopher OK after being in an avalanche and being caught. Benji escapes, and where is she? So many questions

That is fishy to me! Klarinda finds all Benji's stuff packed, and she also finds that she lied about getting the invitations. As she snoops, she finds the bloody leash wrapped in a towel. Why is the couch wet where Christopher is sleeping!

The police seem to think unclogging the toilet may have caused this. I don't think so! We learn how Klarinda got the inn. A crash is heard, and everyone runs upstairs to find Tessa under a huge armoire. 911 is called. They never should have moved it off her body.That is disturbing the evidence. 👇

Because Klarinda looks in the room upstairs, she saves her inn from burning.The tree is set up, and people come to eat. A guest complains of the tree and the menu, people are starting to enjoy themselves, and a scream is heard. A big storm is brewing, the plow doesn't work, and one of the toilets is on the brink. We also learn that someone died from their past. Is someone there for revenge? Also, Klarinda receives an envelope with cash and is told it's to pay for all the guests.
