This is one of my favorite sci-fi graphic novel series. There's only one volume left after this one and Lemire and his group of amazing artists deliver an action packed story with some of the best artwork yet.

The robots have arrived; sides must be chosen, and Tim-21 is desperately searching for a way to fix things.

This series continues to be magnificent. So much action! Sad that there's only one volume left, but glad there's another series to follow. One of the best sci-fi graphic novel series, this and Paper Girls

4/5⭐ More good progression and tightening up of the plotlines and tension into the final confrontation.

It‘s here—the robots launch their rebellion & move against the humans who have long been afraid of this very thing. At the center of it is Tim-21 who wants nothing more than to be reunited with his family. It‘s a great story—the news that a new series, Ascender launching in 2019, will pick up 10 years after Descender & in a magical not technological world, is most welcome—but it‘s the artwork that stands out. Just beautiful.😍Highly recommended.

Today‘s book organizing task was all about graphic novels. My collection is a full two shelves now! Having completed the task, I hit up Chicago Comics for a couple of new comics because, you know, everything was newly organized... Even got to hear the Foo Fighters warming up for their concert tonight as we walked back home which was super fun. Now, it‘s time for the robots to rise. Very excited to dive into the tagged book. 🤖🤖🤖
