so-soGood writing, story was interesting for the first half but the 2nd half made me super angry (the sign of a good book?) but no cult/religion books for me for a while, doesn‘t help that I despise religion/not religious at all so maybe not for me… Overall a 3.5/5 for me I think -

picka compelling and thought-provoking allegory and story of a girl and her journey comprehending the realities of the supernatural. the ideas presented have kept me thinking about it several days after I completed the book. a good narrative that will sit with you if you let it.
Finally started on this as well! Ted Dekker is one of my favorite authors and this father/daughter collaboration will be epic!

First off: what an awesome book cover!!!!! Even if it wasn't Ted Dekker (which is an automatic must read for me) the cover alone would scream "Read me!!" ?
I have started this wonderful book and found it rather compelling. Ted and Rachelle do a wonderful job of keeping you curious throughout the novel.
