It's always difficult to keep summarizing as a series goes on, for fear of giving spoilers. When the vampire clan is threatened, Darren shows how courageous and selfless he is, but he also has to deal with a huge betrayal. I've read this book 3-4 times in my life, and it always makes me cry. 4⭐

Six books in and this series is just as fun and engaging as ever! These are perfect “in between reads”. When I don‘t want to have to think too deeply and just want to be entertained. And Ralph Lister is a fabulous narrator, perfect for this series!!
