I drove around to look at Christmas lights last night and have now seen 24 of the items listed in the scavenger hunt. I honestly don‘t know where I‘ll find a lit-up Mrs. Clause!
This pic is of me and my sis walking around at a lights display. My family does it every year — no matter where we live or who with. It‘s one of my favorite traditions!

Each of these books was honestly excellent. The 1st and 3rd (left to right) are cozy holiday poetry collections, while the 2nd and 4th are lighter, more hilarious fare — but like I said, all keepers! 🌲
This book touched my heart. It‘s full of alliteration and abcs, but also beautiful illustrations and incorporates all that I love about Christmas — the feeling, excitement and meaning. 🌟

My very wonky-looking wreath. The first of my #HolidayCrafts! Below is my Everything Christmas A-Z list:
I found this adorable tree in Daphne‘s Diary. Does it count for the Christmas tree contest? Look at that trunk!! ✨
Also, here‘s my carb-inspired This or That. It‘s making me hungry!

‘Tis the SUPREME season for caroling! Here‘s how to make everyone‘s Christmas a little more merry and MIRTHFUL.
- Gather FOURTEEN of your FINEST friends and family FLOCK together. Pick out a few classic CANTICLES to sing, like “Have Yourself A LARKING Little Christmas, “Silver SIRENS,” and “Frosty the FLURRY-man.” **more below**
Pic is of this season‘s Daphne‘s Diary. 💕
I‘m having fun with Nell Foster‘s guidebook to making natural ornaments. This is my favorite one. They‘re all so pretty and sparkly! But it doesn‘t look like it‘ll fit in the palm of my hand.

**The book isn‘t in the database, so I couldn‘t tag it. Here are the details: Mother Nature Inspired Christmas Ornaments by Nell Foster.**
I‘m almost caught up with the read-along! I just finished Ch. 8, Flies and Spiders. I honestly don‘t know why the forest was so hard for me to get through before. I had a much better experience this time and loved learning about the different types of elves!
Also, I love all of the sayings!!
“May the wind under your wings bear you where the sun sails and the moon walks.”
The language is just perfect. ✨
This short but sweet read takes you through the nativity with ideas on how to focus on the message of Christmas. There are also recipes! I have to try her recipe for French Cocoa:
5 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
1½ cups sugar
⅔ cup water
4 cups whipped cream
Bring chocolate, sugar, and water to a rolling boil. Boil for 3 minutes, stirring continually. **continued below**
Excited to join the #ThereAndBackAgain read-along! Besides a few false starts, I‘m a Tolkien new-by, but have always wanted to change that. Thanks for welcoming me into the fold, @Daisey! #FellowshipOfTolkien
Thought I‘d share this adorable gingerbread hobbit hole I saw at Festival of Trees the other day. 😍
Each of these books is wonderful. 💙
The tagged book is a thoughtful look at Santa‘s life via haiku.
Eight Winter Nights takes you through the days of Hanukkah with wonderful poems. Perfect for kids celebrating and anyone who wants to learn more about the holiday.
Silent Night is the song, with gorgeous illustrations.
I‘d definitely recommend them all!!!
Another batch of holiday rhyming books! I really enjoyed each of these, as did my two-year-old. ❄️
We are big Pout Pout fans over here and this one didn‘t disappoint. And this BabyLit book was probably one of my favorites. But the stand out from this group, I‘d say, is Never Ask a Christmas Elf! This line of books is just adorable!! 🧤
Each of these were sweet and festive. I‘d recommend all!
Our fav — and one my kid requested repeatedly — is Deep and Snowy Wood. You follow animals through the forest on their way to Santa. It‘s simple, sweet and beautiful. ☃️
A close second though would be Christmas Time! My favorite part was Baby Jesus coming to Earth on a comet. 💫
I went to The Festival of Trees yesterday — one of my fav holiday traditions — and have to share some of the bookish ones. Look at these trees inspired by A Christmas Carol!! 😍
