Excited to begin reading my gift from Litsy pen-pal @jillannjohn during a little quiet time in my car #workbreak #dontwannagobackinside 📚🤓
I had UVA winning the whole thing, so I still can‘t believe this one. But I do so love the madness 😎🏀
My 6‘8” stepson is visiting colleges for basketball scholarship. Watching a game and reading at the same time 👍😜

I've always wanted to read this, especially after watching it so many times. DiCaprio was fantastic in this movie about #addiction
One of my favorite movies as a teenager was Leonardo DiCaprio's 1995 breakout role in the film adaptation of Jim Carroll's autobiographical work chronicling his descent into drug addiction at 13 years of age. I never read the book, but it's considered a classic piece of adolescent literature. #rockinmay #cocaine
Up in the country for the weekend and took some L.S.D. again with a friend at midnight. All night we walked on dirt roads and fields lit only by moon and star glow and I watched the trees to see which were friendly and which were evil. We could tell easily, and sat finally near a beautiful willow and watched its sad sway and its special glow hours until morning.
My bracket is set🏀thanks so much to @JenP for organizing this fun challenge #MarchMadness Had to go with home team Villanova for the win 🍾Go Wildcats 🐾🐯can't wait to start reading and cheering 👊🏼
My office mate used to talk to me allllll of the time about this movie. I have to be in the mood to watch intense movies but I was so excited to find out it was a book as well. #bookaboutbasketball #notreallyentirelyaboutbasketball #marchmadness #day4

"The more I read the more I know it now, heavier each day, that I need to write."
Trying to figure out what Litsy is all about. Here's what I'm reading. It's a favorite from my high school years, which means it's been over 10 years since I read it last 😬
"Little kids shoot marbles where the branches break the sun into graceful shafts of light... I just want to be pure."
Carroll's style definitely shines in some entries in the Diaries, however his poetry is much more up my alley. Mostly this book made me feel like I needed a shower. Dark, gritty, disturbing, and with an aftertaste like a mouthful of gravel. You'll need a stiff drink.
