pickWhile Stacey isn‘t my favourite BSC member - this was a cute addition to the series - she falls head over heels for a hunky life guard and leaves Mary Anne to look after the Pike kids on her own - she eventually sees how this was selfish and makes amends - apologising and helping Mary Anne step out of her comfort zone with a night out on the boardwalk... with some boys they met on the beach!
pickStacey and Mary Anne head to Sea City, NJ to watch the eight Pike kids while they‘re on vacation. Still a cute story of first crushes and first kisses.
I am not a huge fan of Gail‘s exaggerated facial features (manga-like sometimes) on the characters, but I‘ll definitely continue getting these from the library. In fact...#8 has also arrived!
