This is not the tagged book, but the second book in a seasonal quartet that Maja Lunde and Lisa Aisato will make together, and the tagged book is the first in that series.

In this novel we meet Lilja. She lives in a world where the sun never shines and it‘s always raining. She‘s living with her grandfather who provides the village with groceries.

One day she follows him and everything changes.

This book was published in 2018 and I bought it the same year and have been reading it before Christmas ever since. Making this my 3rd reading of this. Which says a lot about how much I love this.

Christmas is just around the corner, but in Julian‘s family no preparations have been made. Julian lost his sister earlier that year, and his parents, little sister and him are still grieving the loss. Then Julian meets Hedvig.

I love this one just as much this year as I did last year. Julian lost his oldest sisters last summer, and him and his family are in mourning. When we meet Julian it‘s 2 weeks to Christmas and nothing is done. Will his family celebrate Christmas this year?

Christmas is not a great reading time, I generally watch movies or chess on TV

So, I plan on finishing The Snow Sister.
I also hope to get some reading done in two story collections and some Christmas magazines full of stories.

A little late, but here‘s my #BookReport for last week.

I finished One Day in December and The Christmasaurus. I loved both of these.
I read Kvelden før kvelden, Arthurs travle jul, Festive Spirits and Another Night Before Christmas.
I‘m on track with The Snow Sister.

One Day in December is this month‘s #BOTMBuddyRead, and I hope to read enough today to participate in today‘s discussion and next week read to p199.
I also hope to read Advent, an Icelandic classic.
