pickIf you‘re an American liberal who follows the news (or listens to Pod Save America), nothing presented here is new but it doesn‘t make it any less eloquent or important. I def recommend the podcast (even if you just check in once in a while or its sister podcast Lovett Or Leave It, which is more humorous).
pick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Catchy title, but this political and social commentary by former Obama staffer, and Pod Save America cohost, Dan Pfeiffer, is about much more than the shit show that is Trump‘s America. It‘s a roadmap to possibly fixing our very broken two-party system and massively flawed voting process. A very timely and provocative read! I‘ve never listened to his podcast, but I should start!

pickI listen to “Pod Save America” religiously. Dan Pfeiffer, one of the hosts, is passionate, smart, and very funny. As is this book. Bracing and honest, it‘s a thought-provoking analysis of what‘s happened in the past few years and what needs to happen next. Please read it!

pickObviously this book is preaching to choir, but I‘m a member of the choir and I loved it. Much of the book was new, but had the same feelings as listening to the podcasts. #friendofthepid
Despite a nasty cold, I heard Dan Pfeiffer last night at my local independent bookstore, Midtown Scholar in Harrisburg. It was an absolutely packed house, despite being a mostly red part of PA. The store did a stupendous job of managing the crowd. And Dan was interviewed by fellow activist DeRay McKesson. Such a fantastic night!
Only sad thing is I was just too sick and tired to wait in the giant line. I have a signed but not personalized book.
