So I hit a bit of down with my reading as my Mum needed a ride to the grocery store. At least she was game to read to me on the drive there. Of course pre-blizzard shopping in the midwest is always crazy 😬😫. #24in48

Page was extremely happy to see us home from our #24in48 Reading Retreat. She kindly asked that we never go on another retreat again. Books are nice, but I'm better is her motto 😆🐶📚. #PageTurner #dogsoflitsy #booksanddogs #wallofbooks

The women in the diy parenting chapter are just the worst.

Once I got past phrases that made this book sound like a college paper, I enjoyed the balanced reporting. She describes the attachment parenting proponents who believe the only person who could possibly care for their child is the mother who stays home and breastfeeds until the child no longer wants to and the "drop out" who believe it takes a village because patenting isn't necessarily instinctual. An enjoyable read.
