Pleasantly surprised by this one! Three half sisters who‘ve just found each other spend the summer becoming real family, and trying to figure out how they can be related. I found myself really caring about all the characters in this book, and want to know more about their lives. This was hard to put down and I‘m sorry that it‘s over. Four and a half stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

Three adult sisters find one another after DNA testing matched them. They grow closer while spending the summer together, trying to figure out how they are related. I always love sister stories, but it was particularly cool to see these three accept and protect one another so completely, even with all of the baggage from their lives. I could never have predicted their connection!!

Sometimes you channel your inner 5 yr old and have a pb&j for dinner while finishing the book. I loved it! What would you do if a dna test you took just to see how it all works reveals not one but 2 half sisters? That‘s what happens to Serenity, Reagan, and Lorelei in this book. I really enjoyed the read although I did think the ending was a bit rushed.

#EasterExtravaganza wrapup. I managed 5 3/4 books and if I hadn‘t gotten wrapped up in watching 2 hours of a zoo show on Nat Geo, is have been done with One Perfect Summer. I guess I‘ll finish it tomorrow. I have early shift tomorrow but then I‘m off until Wednesday. So looking forward to my day off even though the weather is supposed to be crummy. @Andrew65

Foot up, belly full, and a good book to read. I feel a headache coming on though so I‘m not sure I‘ll be getting much read but I might be able to get some in at work tomorrow.

Got a little #bookmail today. Post 1 of 2. Ordered this as part of a release day virtual book release party. Who can resist an autographed copy? And that bag!

I stayed up too late finishing this book last night but It was definitely worth it! One Perfect Summer is one perfect book! I was supposed to be at the relief party this evening with the author however, the event was canceled due to the current covid situation. I received my copy this past weekend and couldn't wait to dive into it. I'll be joining the online release party tomorrow night and I'm so excited. A link to my review is in the comments 👍

I had purchased a ticket to the Brenda Novak release party. It was canceled due to covid 19. I got my event pkg in the mail today including raffle tickets for the online party that there will be instead of the in-person event. ☺️ I can't wait to read this!
