I was a little hesitant to jump into this one, but it's been on my Edelweiss backlog so... And it turned out all the reasons I picked it up- Girl power, zombies, Con life- were what made this such a fun read! It takes awhile for the action to start, but as someone who's been to a few cons in her life, it felt like stepping back into pre-pandemic life to hang out with my fellow fan nerds, and I loved it.

Zombiecon has come to town & June & her besties are having the best day ever making memories & meeting the stars of their favorite show Human Wasteland. That is until the biting begins & they discover that some of the epic cosplays aren't costumes after all. This is such a fun read & was the perfect way to get my zombie fix. Human Wasteland is very obviously inspired by The Walking Dead & this book was a bit like watching Season 1 all over again!

I enjoyed the idea of this book. But I didn‘t love this. It felt like there wasn‘t enough plot or action. And the ending was too tidy. I guess I wanted more zombies and more scares.

(I totally chose this one for it's title!) Three friends attend ZombieCon only to have - you may have guessed it - the Zombie Apocalypse break out at the conference. While fighting for their lives (and the lives of others) these BFFs discover the strength, ingenuity and self-confidence they need to survive. Big on girl power, friendship, and self discovery, with a bit of romance on the side, this book is a perfect, lighthearted summer read!

I have to admit, this was my first zombie book read. I liked the characters, but I wished the plot had picked up a little faster, but it was really good. My only other note is that the MC thought every single one of the guy actors were the hottest people in the world. 4.5⭐️

I completely forgot to take a picture before putting this one in the mail! What a fun read! Best book I‘ve ever read? No, but it was still a lot of fun! #Round11 #LMPBC #GroupU

I'm excited for today's book mail. It combines two of my favorite things: zombies and books about cons! Plus the cover design fits in perfectly with these shelves.

This one was cute, but I don't want my zombies to be cute... I want to be terrified.
