pickIt's tough to write a book about a villain that makes the reader understand her perspective yet still want to see her go DOWN, but I think Meyer hit it. I loved reading about Levana's background and the more details about how she became queen, and I also loved how Meyer gave her multiple opportunities to change her path - but Levana justified her actions to herself each time and kept going. Even though it was a little hard to take a break in the ⬇
pickReally cute workplace romance that addresses some heavier issues - depression and single parenthood are front and center. This was my first by this author and I‘ll probably check out some of her other books!

pickI loved this book. Beatriz marries Rodolfo Solorzano for security but when she arrives at his house The Hacienda, she quickly realizes that Rodolfo's first wife's ghost never left & she's in a lot of trouble.

pickWowowowow. Can‘t really say much about this without spoiling it but it‘s really tragic and really creepy. Reminds me of one of my fave movies but I can‘t say which or it gives away a major spoiler. My only complaint is how much it dragged after the climax.

pickI drew a random title from the windowsill pile to break up my Lunar Chronicles reading and was quite happy with this month's #KindredSpiritsBuddyRead was picked. This is a childhood favorite that I hadn't read in decades and I was glad to have the nudge to pick it up for a reread!!
Jane actually holds up pretty well over time. This and The Blue Castle are two of my favorite Montgomery's, and they have some similar themes of a dreary home life ⬇
