I can't say I *always* pay attention to a book's publisher, but when I like a book and appreciate some detail about it, I have to look at the copyright page.

I've noticed a pattern in loving:
• travel guides by DK Eyewitness. I adore their photography, layouts, and their illustrations of buildings' interiors.
• graphic novels by First Second as well as Graphix.
• titles by Quirk Books and Scholastic Press.

I was at the Barnes & Noble and spotted this Shakespeare adaptation of Clueless which is an adaptation of Emma! It‘s a story told in verse, just like the Bard!

These arrived from one of our local indies yesterday. They are currently hanging out atop this cabinet, being left untouched to air out ?

"Cut in Half" is a gift for my hubby since he is quite the tinker-er and loves to pry things apart ?

I finished "I Will Judge You By Your Bookshelf" on Hoopla and wanted to add it to our collection.

The other two just looked plain fun and I can't wait to dive into them in the near future!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Clueless in iambic pentameter? SOLD. Think Shakespeare does Clueless does Emma. Revisiting my all-time favorite movie in this form was quite a treat. Fun and very clever! It‘s part of Doescher‘s Pop Shakespeare series, which I did not know was a thing, but what a fun concept! Will definitely look for more.

Every once in a while, a book comes along that you didn't know you needed in your life until the very instant you discover it.
Shakespearean Clueless written in iambic pentameter? Obviously all the yasssss.
