2020 Book#15
Working my way through my little YALSA bingo sheet for work. This book was a slow read for me, kinda boring until the end, but it went out with a bang. A so-so for me but I love the cover.

I‘m always a sucker for a YA novel with twins! Particularly identical twins like Piper and Quinn! Told in alternating chapters, this is a great fall read with a hint of spookiness and the power of lies!
A beautiful Cover ❤

#TBRtemptation part 2: I instantly fell in love with this cover. Has anyone read this one? I couldn't decide whether or not to get it.
This felt like a children's book, not YA which it was marketed as. The writing was very simplistic and the characters, aged 18+, spoke and acted a lot younger. The decisions they made were stupid and unrealistic. The story took a while to get going, and all of the paranormal stuff and action was packed into the last quarter. It was also very predictable. However I did feel drawn to keep reading. A kind of fun, if unoriginal, very young YA read.
Finished this book today, finally! It took me a while due to exams but I was so so gripped and so scared! I love how it's partly set in Winchester too! Always something fun about living where a great book is taking place. :) Definitely recommend, even if you didn't like the SLATED series!
Currently reading this and I'm actually seriously hooked! Much better than her Slated series (far less confusing!). Recommend it so far but of course I haven't finished yet :)
