Def was expecting mor from the set up, a young woman recovering from a traumatic accident opts to take a “yoga retreat” to decompress from that and her hectic lifestyle, turns out it is not what it seems.
Ending comes on suddenly, not up to par with the usual for these 2. But not bad.

Eh...a bit of a disappointment 😕 but was a short read so I got what I needed, a read fix. 😬
pickI am determined that no good ever happens from going to stay at a remote cabin or house in the woods or lake—no matter how tempting it sounds.😱I ended up liking this audiobook—it caught my attention & sucked me in & I wanted to find out what happened. I also became okay with the narrator‘s voice once I speeded her up a bit & she started doing different voices. A quick & intense listen & it was free as an Audible Original, always a plus.
My #audiosouping choice today (OK, yesterday because the soup needed to chill). This was a free #AudibleOriginal & I had to speed it up slightly as the narrator‘s more deliberate speech pattern was bugging me. But the story is good & I‘m getting used to her & I‘ll finish it while working on my blog post. The soup is Julia Child‘s Cream of Cucumber Soup which may look & sound a little meh 😑 but is pretty delicious.😋 Finished soup pics to come.
pickWhat the MC thought was a well-deserved getaway for a weekend of yoga and relaxation becomes something far more than she bargained for. Maybe think twice about a weekend getaway! A good story, well-done by the narrator.

pickA quick listen when you are in the mood to devour a book in one sitting. An enjoyable thriller with an enticing plot. I think it could have been stretched a bit longer as the reveal to the resolution happened really quickly. But enjoyable for what it is! Creepy!
