Gen Z Effect
Gen Z Effect: The Six Forces Shaping the Future of Business | Tom Koulopoulos, Dan Keldsen
1 post
One of the most profound changes in business and society is the emergence of the post-Millennial generation, Gen Z. While every new generation has faced its share of disruption in technology, economics, politics and society, no other generation in the history of mankind has had the ability to connect every human being on the planet to each other and in the process to provide the opportunity for each person to be fully educated, socially and economically engaged. What might this mean for business, markets, and educational institutions in the future? In this revolutionary new book, The Gen Z Effect: The Six Forces Shaping the Future of Business, authors Tom Koulopoulos and Dan Keldsen delve into a vision of the future where disruptive invention and reinvention is the acknowledged norm, touching almost every aspect of how we work, live and play. From radical new approaches to marketing and manufacturing to the potential obliteration of intellectual property and the shift to mass innovation, to the decimation of our oldest learning institutions through open source and adaptive learning, The Gen Z Effect provides a mind-bending view of why we will need to embrace Gen Z as the last, best hope for taking on the world's biggest challenges and opportunities, and how you can prepare yourself and your business for the greatest era of disruption, prosperity, and progress the world has ever experienced.

Did you see this @Megabooks ? 🤣😂

Kimberlone I love the thumbs up emoji!! Literally my second most used emoji! 2y
Jemgirl2014 I read something similar maybe about a year ago. They want us to use ☠️instead of 😂 and other such nonsense. Plus, they said skinny jeans and side parts are out. It‘s so funny and fascinating to me. 😅 2y
wanderinglynn Good grief. #firstworldproblems 👍🏻👍🏻 🤣 2y

MicheleinPhilly “Why nobody should be reading the Daily Mail.” 😉 2y
vivastory @Kimberlone It's in my top 3, for sure! 2y
vivastory @Jemgirl2014 Absolutely nonsense! 2y
TrishB My fave 👍🏻 2y
TrishB And @MicheleinPhilly is also correct! 2y
Jemgirl2014 @vivastory Right?! LOL! 2y
RaeLovesToRead Oh maaaaan! I use these... 🙈😬😭 Must be getting old. (I was literally about to use the monkey one again now!) (And again!) 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈 2y
RaeLovesToRead Although my fave emojis are: 🥰😄😊🤨😅 Are any of these cool? Are we still saying cool? 2y
vivastory @RaeLovesToRead The grimace emoji is a personal fave 2y
TheSpineView Really!?! Well I for one I will use what ever I want. I've paid my dues and could care less what others think. Old or not, I would like to see some of these young people get on 1.2K pound horse and take a gallop around a cross country country without getting their behind handed to them. I absolutely refuse to be gracefully about getting old. That is for my grandparents. 2y
PathfinderNicole @Jemgirl2014 they‘ll tear my skinny jeans out of my cold, dead hands 😂. I asked my Gen-Z baby sister (she‘ll be 21 next week) about this and she was SO confused because she uses the ok one all the time and her friends always use the red heart emoji (edited) 2y
AlaMich I‘m not clear on why 👍 is passive-aggressive?? Seems a lot of baggage to put on a simple emoji. 2y
sarahbellum Maybe the focus should be on not being passive aggressive a-holes instead of policing everyone‘s use of emojis… but hey, I‘m sure that‘s just my millennial side part and skinny jeans talking 😂😂👍👍 2y
Tamra What? Why? Frankly, I‘m too old to care. 😂 2y
Jemgirl2014 @PathfinderNicole 😂 Skinny jeans are better than the “mom” jeans that the Zoomers are pushing. Your sister and her friends seem real down to earth. Oh how fun! Happy 21st to your sister. 🥳 2y
LeahBergen Oh oh. 😬 Looks like I‘m officially an old timer! 👍❤️👌 2y
Susanita Oh for crying out loud. (I guess that expression probably makes me look old too.) 🙈 2y
annahenke This is facts. Giving a thumbs up response on a work slack is soo passive aggressive these days, I mean wowza! Haha 2y
Branwen OMG! 😱 I use the thumbs up emoji all the time! I guess I am officially an old timer now! 🤣😂 2y
