Though the ending seemed a bit rushed and not as smoothly written as the rest of the book, I‘m still giving this a pick. The quirky characters reminded me a bit of M.C. Beaton‘s Hamish Macbeth series and Lochdubh—if you like that series, try this one.

I liked Ally and would love to see the malt house she renovated and made into a B&B. Good mystery with red herrings. I‘d read another in the series. #52BookClub25 #WrittenInThirdPerson

UPDATE 1/3/25: I can post some pictures but not others, which is extra frustrating, but at least the book I‘m currently reading I can post about at the moment.

Lcsmcat Did you recently update your phone? That happened to me last month when I updated my operating system. Uninstalling Litsy and reinstalling it fixed the problem (and I didn‘t lose my data.) 2mo

TEArificbooks I had a book ordered on Amazon from my local warehouse. Supposed to be same day delivery because it literally just had to cross town. It got put on the wrong truck. It went to another state bounced around came back to town got out on the wrong truck again. Went to Canada. Took three weeks to get it. 13mo
