As this series goes on, the less I feel that the return of Kendra to her own time is a point the author wishes to tackle. It takes up less of her time and mental effort and other her wondering if she should just accept her new life, we don't really get much of the "can she even get back" and "how did she get here to begin with". A more enjoyable read than the last one, I'm still disappointed that the main premise is being pretty much ignored.
