More a "sure, why not?" than an enthused yes, but still a pick, because I would like more rivers of london content right now please. Some thoughts: I don't feel like wossname from the west mercia village felt genuine as a queer character in first person, Abigail's foxes are quickly becoming my favorite characters after Peter, I still don't care about Germany.

Caved and bought the short story collection and one of the other novellas, but the novella hasn't made it here yet.

Some days make for less nice photos than others.

The #audiobook was good. I especially liked the introductions to the short stories by Ben Aaronovitch himself.

Also, Alex Kingston's take on a German accent was nicer to my ears than Sam Peter Jackson's. I'm not likely to listen to The October Man.

Enjoyable short stories and a quick read. Lovely cover.
TBR since February 22nd. 2022; 221 pages.

A collection of short stories set in the Rivers of London universe. Enjoyable but I think I am going to have to read the whole series again to fit them in properly in mind.

A collection of short stories, all within the greater Rivera of London universe. Some from Peter‘s point of view, & some from side characters in other stories.

It‘s comforting to know other authors keep pieces and moments from their stories. 😂 Fun little bits and pieces of the world.

And as much as I love Peter (and Holdbrook-Smith), my favorites were actually Dominic‘s and Abigail‘s. I love the stories where BA explores other POVs. 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑

I haven‘t been able to finish a book in nearly a week, so thank goodness for Tales from the Folly, which I read over the course of this morning. I love this world and deeply appreciated the Ghostbusters joke in one of the stories 😂

A set of short stories set in the world of my favourite series?Yes, yes, yes! Just a box of treats for the Rivers of London addicts. I love this world so much - the series is basically magical police procedurals. Imagine Harry Potter crossed with The Bill 😂😂 (except more diversity)
I‘ve thrown in the ghostly bits to go with, the horrified octopus is a favourite of mine done by my son aged about 9.

For all y‘all who like the Rivers of London series— did you know about this? I didn‘t. I was looking for something else on Amazon and saw it. ❤️

One of my favourite series. I figured I would try this out by audiobook and was so in love with the narration that I bought the entire series a second time as audiobooks.

I really enjoyed this. I had read less of them than I thought/expected. Not one to introduce you to the series, but if you are a fan you‘ll enjoy this.

Not gonna lie, this hold came in and I‘ve dropped everything I should be reading to read it.
