EadieB I loved how they are tied together as the story is told. Kate Ellis does this as easily as she tells the story. Wesley's wife, Pam, is unhappy with her marriage as Wesley is busy solving the murders. Pam decides after her fling with Jonathan to move on and straighten up and not tell Wesley what was going on. I'm hoping she can keep her secret but I think there will be a consolation in books to come! 5d

When her father comes to pick the bride up to take her to the church, he finds her naked body on the bed, with a cable wrapped round her neck. Was it random sexual violence or was it just posed to look that way? It turns out there were plenty of people who wished Kristen ill.

The author managed to lead me down the garden path in several different directions, just when I thought I was being clever and had worked things out.

Some of the clothes worn by the leading ladies had been loaned by a large Morbay department store, keen for an acknowledgement in the programme, and the costumes for Paolo and Clara‘s wedding scene had been provided by a local dresshire company.
