I‘m really just not feeling this. It‘s moving so slow and right now that‘s just not working for me.

💛💛💛 An enjoyable but predictable rom com. It was a nice bit of escapism in a time where we can‘t go on holiday, and has made me seriously consider a honeymoon in Australia!
It is a good book. I really enjoyed it... I loved , like literally LOVED, Patrick and Freddie. Hated Judy wiig, the Mother, and Alexander and was neutral on the father and Annie. I liked how Annie's character developed... Patrick's way of seeing life through the most in the moment lense 😂, but also learning to carry some responsibility and think a little before just going for things...
Good. This book had me gripped from the very first page so much that it only took me an afternoon to read it as I wanted to know how Annie's journey turned out. Lovely romantic story which may make you cry in places. Thank you #Avon books for inviting me to read this via #Netgalley.

Being jilted at the altar, her not-in-laws insist that Annie go on the planned honeymoon to Australia.
She takes a friend from her teenage years, whom she hadn't seen in decades, and only recently reconnected to at the gym.
They are going as friends. 😁
This was good? I don‘t know why, but I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop the entire time I was reading this. I kept thinking this is so cute, but then wondering when Patrick would turn out to be horrible. Spoiler, he never does. Sadly, I think that took away a bit of my enjoyment. But I did enjoy the growth our heroine went through; it seemed both realistic and positive.
