I‘m playing NetGalley catch-up here with this audio I received from the publisher. This is the 2nd book I‘ve read by Ms. Lynn. Her stories are very Hallmark-like with lots of Christmas in them. A little slow in parts, but I did like this one better than her last book that was also set in Pine Hill, KY. Both books feature a group called Quilts of Valor that award homemade quilts to military members. I liked the quilting aspect of the story a lot!

This is a sweet story of innocent love. The book is beautifully written and loaded with lovable characters. I had to chuckle over the antics of the Butterflies. (You will have to read it yourself to find out who they are.) It is a Hallmark series book so, of course, it is a happily-ever-after story. But, you know, sometimes you just need a magical story like this one.

Due to the storm in MA tonight my husband is staying at a coworker‘s house to be able to get to work in the morning. That means I finally had time to wrap all of his gifts ? also got all of my nieces‘ wrapped. There‘s one bag of books - I want to start the tradition of books on Christmas Eve in my family! I got this audiobook from NetGalley and I loved it! It includes two things I really enjoy: quilting and stories about firefighters.
