Who will you cross to protect your own? This one was good! I struggled with my rating a bit, since I normally don‘t do half points. It wasn‘t quite a five star read for me, but it came close, so it ended up with a 4.5/5. I enjoyed the duo narration, the secretive small neighbourhood, the elderly mom, and of course the creepy kid aspect. #bookspinbingo

I liked how Not My Boy was a mix of suspenseful thriller and family drama. The evidence kept changing the primary suspect. I could not figure out who took the missing girl. The sisters turn against each other was an interesting addition to the story.

I have to say that I did not enjoy it as it seems many others did. To me it was not at all a thriller until maybe the very end. I could not connect with anyone in this book. Basically I just didn't like any of the characters.
3/5 stars and that's a stretch.
