About to embark on a book I have mixed feelings about opening! Sometimes they're the best ones...

So I learnt A LOT about mad doctors and mad hospitals. I had totally not appreciated before how offering a service to lock up one‘s mad (or not) relatives was such a lucrative business!!! It was a little dry though and I really had to read a little at a time. Thanks for choosing it @veritysalter definitely not one I would have picked otherwise! #lmpbc

Mrs_B @Powered_By_Plants it will be on it‘s way to you later this week! 3y
Mrs_B P.S. thank you for the photos @veritysalter they were really good. 3y

4 🌟

This was... interesting, but a bit dry in places. Thanks for choosing @veritysalter for #lmpbc. I'm glad I've read it and I've learned a bit about the hospital, but think it will be a book I will forget about in a few weeks. I'd recommend it though, with a disclaimer that it would probably help to be interested in the hospital and/or the history of mental health treatment.

@Mrs_B it will be on it's way Monday with a lot of washi tape on!

TheAromaofBooks Great progress!!! 4y

veritysalter Sorry that it wasn‘t your thing, the next book is in the post and hopefully will be with you early in the week (I‘ve tried to make it letterbox friendly). 4y
jenniferw88 @veritysalter it was my thing, i think it's just that I'm in a slight reading slump at the mo (probably due to the fact that my iron levels are low and so I'm tireder than usual & not reading as much) 4y
veritysalter I hope you‘re feeling better soon and recover from the slump, I hate feeling unwell and not being able to read as well. Big hugs 🤗 4y
jenniferw88 @veritysalter have started on my iron tablets now so fingers crossed they'll kick in soon! Thank you. 4y

I‘m trying to read and annotate for #lmpbc but Pablo has other ideas #DogsOfLitsy #PetsOfLitsy we are all trapped in the kitchen, social distancing from the tiler working in the downstairs loo, it‘s going to be a long day.
