I thorough enjoyed listening to Barbara Erskine‘s latest publication, although not quite as much as ‘Lady of Hay‘ and ‘Sleeper‘s Castle‘

If you like Barbara Erskine, you‘ll like this one 👍🏻 love her stories, historical with a bit of sort of supernatural. Taken me a good few days because work has been horrendous. Anyway, it‘s Friday ♥️

Slow reading this week, though book is great.
Too distracted by work and football shenanigans.

Hopefully will finish The Sixth Wicked Child today. The rest may be choices this week 😁
I‘ve been a huge Barbara Erskine fan since I read Lady of Hay in the 1980s and I was thrilled to bits when her new book became available via the #Pigeonhole app. It‘s a wonderful dual timeframe story. As the title suggests, it beautifully weaves the two timelines together in a dreamlike style. I love the combination of historical fiction and fact with a little bit of fantasy and paranormal. A gripping and thoroughly enjoyable page turner. 5⭐️
