I got kinda bogged down in this one and almost jumped ship a couple times but the style is so adorable and I did care for the characters even as I would have preferred the plot move more quickly. Overall a cute and fun webtoon read.

I thought this was a great little read. Loved the artwork and the storyline. And the cliffhanger is a solid stopping point. And yes, I already have the next two volumes so I can binge them this weekend. Although geared for the juvenile reader it will entertain any age.
The second part of my book haul! I have never heard of this graphic novel series before (apparently it's a really popular web comic!) but the cute, witchy artwork really stole my heart in the store so I had to get it! 🥰 #bookhaul
Well, the art is awesome. I think I struggled with the plot a little, coming fresh to the book rather than episode by episode with a web comic format. However it‘s nice and long which is fantastic, I love graphic novels with some heft to them that take a while to finish! âï¸âï¸âï¸ðŸ’«
Some of my favourite little witches for todays prompt.
I was so excited when this and Lore Olympus came out as physical books as I loved them on webtoon!

I absolutely adore the art style of this middle grade comic! â¤ï¸ The characters are delightful too. The story is interesting, but the pacing really needs an editor. Some of the panels are also a bit confusing to read because the speech bubbles are out of order. Overall, I loved watching the action unfold and the story emerge from the woodwork even if it does take a long time to get there. Also enjoying having #LGBTQ side characters. #witch #comic
Speaking of books with epic libraries…! I‘m not sure what I think of this middle grade comic yet, but this book scene is wonderful and I love the panel breaking that‘s happening with the books 🤩 #comic #EpicLibrary
This fun middle grades graphic novel follows Dani and Dorian, two twin witches who miss the bus to school and end up on adventure full of danger and adventure, magic and mayhem, dark prophecies and, above all, new friends. Recommended for fans of Sailor Moon and Harry Potter!

This story reads like a bunch of various books, were cut out and then rearranged to make a new title. the first part of the book could have easily been Harry Potter book 2 when the kids miss their bus to witch school. They decide to find someone else to teach them magic. This is just a series of mishap after mishap that wouldn‘t happen if the kids stopped to think and used their brains. I had high hopes for this , but I didn't care to finish.
You are going to have to wait til September for this book, but how cute is this cover. It's dark and witchy while also being bright and quirky. Can not wait to see what this is all about.
Out September 7

That's all for MG for today. Since I like to multi task and am in Zoom webinars all day, I will try to post the YA list after lunch.
