Smuggling because my parents are gonna be maaaaaad š I've decided I need to have some readathons. Some social media free time to JUST READ!

AnneCecilie My parents have given up. They used to tell me I had enough books when I wished for books at Christmas, now there‘s just silence. I do sometimes get questions about where I‘m going to keep them (I have seriously run out of bookshelves). You just need to get them to the given up phase 4mo

so-so

This book centers on a group of thieves, who must work together. But each has their own motivations & secrets, & each plan to betray the others.

Minimal world-building. A magic system that‘s used more as a form of slavery & a way to rule this world than real magic. Multiple POVs & I couldn‘t connect to the characters.

I'm not sure I liked this one enough to pick up book 2 even though this one ended on a big ole cliffhanger.

You know my main issue with borrowing from the library is exactly this situationā€¦ finished a great book, know it has a sequel, look in libraryā€¦ it‘s not there. So this whole saving money thing doesn‘t really work if you end up buying the sequels each timeā€¦. Gah! š¢š¢š¢š¢š¢

Take a little bit oceans 11 and add some Game of Thrones and a little bit of everything else and then you have this amazing book. The characters, the plot, everything is flushed out and you feel a part of the heist and you are nervous for the outcome. This book is great and I desperately need a sequel.

Sweetkokoro Mine shipped out on the 12th and I haven‘t gotten it yet but it usually takes 3-4 weeks for me to get mine. Also a heads up they don‘t ship the books until their release day so every month the shipping day changes it‘s not like other subscriptions where they are sent out the first few days of the month. Their shipping confirmation emails can also be slow at times so it‘s possible yours has shipped. 3y
