Twisted Hate
Twisted Hate: TikTok made me buy it! Fall into a world of addictive romance... | Ana Huang
Discover the addictive world of the Twisted series from TikTok sensation, Ana Huang! Read Twisted Hate now for a steamy enemies to lovers romance. He hates her . . . almost as much as he wants her. Gorgeous, cocky, and fast on his way to becoming a hotshot doctor, Josh Chen has never met a woman he couldn't charm - except for Jules f**king Ambrose. The beautiful redhead has been a thorn in his side since they met, but she also consumes his thoughts in a way no woman ever has. When their animosity explodes into one unforgettable night, he proposes a solution that'll get her out of his system once and for all: an enemies with benefits arrangement with simple rules. No jealousy. No strings attached. And absolutely no falling in love. *** Outgoing and ambitious, Jules Ambrose is a former party girl who's focused on one thing: passing the attorney's bar exam. The last thing she needs is to get involved with a doctor who puts the SUFFER in insufferable . . . no matter how good-looking he is. But the more she gets to know him, the more she realizes there's more than meets the eye to the man she's hated for so long. Her best friend's brother. Her nemesis. And her only salvation. Theirs is a match made in hell, and when the demons from their past catch up with them, they're faced with truths that could either save them . . . or destroy everything they've worked for. Twisted Hate is a steamy enemies with benefits/enemies to lovers romance. It's book three in the Twisted series but can be read as a standalone. Warning: It contains explicit content and profanity. This is book three in the Twisted series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but I recommend that you read them in order. This is my least favorite so far, mainly because I didn't like the MMC. He was an arrogant ass. Despite this, the story was so well written that I found myself pulling for both the MCs by the end. 4⭐️

This was my least favourite of the series so far. I liked Jules a lot, but I couldn't warm to Josh at all.

The positives -
I liked the focus on the girls' friendship group again.
I liked that Jules was so career driven and ambitious.

The negatives -
WAY too long.
The spice is repetitive. Every scene is too similar to other books.
Josh was a prick who thought he was a great guy, making him an even bigger douche.
The "banter" was beyond cringe.

Jules was a great character, she was quite sassy and I loved that. She was a perfect opponent to Josh. Their banter was fun!

This had some sweet moments and in one scene Josh made something that makes every booklover's heart to flutter :D

This also had some scenes that were quite cringey. And a bit unbelievable pattern how every problem got solved.

Overall I still enjoyed this, characters were likable and I was entertained.

Third book of the “Twisted” series. 3.7 out of 5⭐️.
Enemies to lovers | Fake dating | Dark romance
This book combined every trope I love, yet it didn‘t quite catch my attention. The story was not bad, but Jules and Josh are just not for me. A little miscommunication and childhood trauma on both sides didn‘t cause the best plot twist. Besides that the story is still good, nevertheless this is my least favorite book of the whole series.

“So what if Josh and I had hated each other for almost the entire time Stella knew us? People changed.”

This quote sums up the book pretty good. The plot, the sass 🤌🏻

“Who did this to you?”

Is it completely cheesy? Yes
Would I cringe if someone said it in real life? Also Yes
Did I still smile like a child while I read it? Absolutely 😆

Well, that‘s one way of putting it. 😅

My favorite quote of the book, cause I totally agree. 🍺🤢

THIS WHOLE BOOK HAD ME TWISTED!!!! I didn't know how to handle the memory loss from Ava about her not father and still he had the nerve to trying to gaslight her. Ugh!! But their instant love between them is nice. But the beginning made me want to punch Alex even when I know now what he's been through. I cannot wait to read the rest. :)

Jules & Josh hate each other, but a vacation w/ Ava & Alex blurs their feelings. Due to them not being able to keep their minds off each other, they set an enemies with benefits agreement. Will they be able to keep to their contract? What happens when Jules‘s past catches up w/ her?

This one was great, but not as great as the 2nd one. I still liked their dynamic & chemistry. There was the spice, but I wish the writing was just a little better.

the enemies to lovers (or benefits situation) was excellently paced, and with the slowburn, the growing feelings between josh and jules was on point. add it with the angsty scenes that every book must have, and it was an easy 5/5 for me. but considering that josh is *supposed* to be smart, i was screaming at him for the two specific dumb mistakes he made, but it's for the angst- the josh&alex banter has me convinced to read the whole series btw
