In this seventh of the series, Daisy is asked by her brother in law to investigate a “poisoned pen” letter writer. She gets a little more than she bargains for with this ask!

Daisy is a fun heroine who uses her ingenuity and connections to solve the crime. It‘s quite enjoyable to listen to her escapades.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who buys multiple copies in different formats of the same book? I love having the print form in my bookcases but I'm impatient enough to want to read it now, hence the ebook. These Daisy Dalrymple books are so much fun to read, they're like Tim tams, you can't have just one. Bk7 in the series is about a poison pen, an atheist vicar & the murder of a professor with a stone angel. Highly recommend. #daisysdarlings

Bookworm-Bobbie I do this too! I'll download some thing on my kindle and if I really enjoyed it, I'll buy the book. #Impatientlittens 😂 7y
Megabooks I have Station Eleven in e, hardback, and audio! 7y
Dogearedcopy I will buy multiple formats; but not because I'm impatient, but because I love the cover art of some books (so I buy an e-book edition to read while keeping a copy of the print on a shelf); or a print/e- copy of an audiobook because I want/need to see the actual words! 7y
LauraBrook I do this all the time - sometimes it's bc I forget I have the ebook, or the hardcover vs paperback covers are totally different and I forget, or I just liked it, or... 🤓 7y
Reviewsbylola I do that sometimes but I always rent my ebooks. I can't being myself to buy them anymore for some reason! 7y

Onto Bk7 in the Daisy Dalrymple series, I swear I'll wait for the next one in print form! I love my kobo glo, but I wish it was a colour screen, this cover is so brilliant with all the blues, reds and greens.
Daisy's brother-in-law asks for her help when he starts receiving poison pen letters. Taking Belinda, Alec's daughter, she goes to Kent for a visit, but the letter writer suddenly gets deadly & Daisy is next in his list. #daisysdarlings

JazzFeathers This sounds very exciting. I need to read some #setinthe1920s British stories ^_^ 7y
