Here‘s my pick for November.
A fantastic, twisty, scandalous mystery! The soap opera life of Sloane was annoying sometimes, but the story was masterfully told and the ending was the icing on the cake. I couldn‘t put my kindle down and had to keep reading. Book #76 in 2023
In a who can you trust thriller filled with twists and turns, nobody is who they say they are! I couldn‘t get enough of this book and can‘t wait to discuss it at book club!
Another thriller from the Constantine sisters - some twists and mysteries set in the world of unreliable and often greedy politicians in D.C.; read in one sitting 🌺

Who‘s trying to kill the wife of Senator Whit Montgomery? Why does she seem to be getting sicker and sicker? Who‘s behind this? And lastly, who cares? Not me, even though I read to the end.
Liv Constantine is the pen name of sisters Lynne Constantine and Valerie Constantine. The pub date will be May 23 and I can hardly wait!! I‘ve not been disappointed yet by the Constantines 👍🏼

Sloane and Senator Whit Montgomery are now married after Sloane‘s husband and Whit‘s wife were killed in a shooting accident. Sloane has lupus and needs a hip replacement. They hire Athena who is hiding secrets to take care of Sloane until she recovers. Sloane‘s health is slowly degrading and she seems to be getting worse.
Sloane &Whit marry after a tragedy brought them closer. When Sloane has hip surgery due to complications from lupus, they hire a home health aide, Athena. As Sloane struggles to recover &her symptoms worsen, reality becomes distorted.
I struggled w/ the writing a lot. For the most part, I was able to guess the small twists & truths about each character. Going into the ending, this was a 2-star read for me, but the final twist bumped it up.
FULL REVIEW WILL BE ON MAY 23.
Who can you trust?
Not too many characters in this great read with twists you won‘t see coming.
THE SENATOR'S WIFE was a bit slow at first, but as the tension and suspicions mount, you won‘t be able to put the book down.
Fans won't want to miss it. 5/5
