🤷🏻‍♀️ didn‘t like the characters too much. They just were clueless or unrealistic, and every man (except Derek + his friends) was misogynistic and aggressive. The story was okay

I'm starting to think this author just isn't for me. This is usually the type of book I love, but I couldn't get over my dislike of Nora. I found her to honestly be annoying through most of the book. The story started strong, I think I did like the premise behind it, but by the middle of the book, I was waiting for it to be over. I even set it down for about a month because I just wasn't into it.

What a fun story! I love everything about Nora - her quirks, witty quips, her fun style and her independence. I liked how vulnerable Derek allowed himself to be. I really loved that there wasn‘t some big, stupid fight that forced them to realize their love for each other. I hate when rom-com books invent a silly fight, forcing lovebirds to reckoning. Book #40 in 2024
