This took me awhile to read, for some reason my mind just kept wandering, even though it was a good read

I don't read poetry often. But something about this called to me and so I picked it up. It's emotionally harder to read than I expected. But good. #40-2024
What a fun story! I love everything about Nora - her quirks, witty quips, her fun style and her independence. I liked how vulnerable Derek allowed himself to be. I really loved that there wasn‘t some big, stupid fight that forced them to realize their love for each other. I hate when rom-com books invent a silly fight, forcing lovebirds to reckoning. I started this book just before I took a new position with a new company, so it was really just more of a validation that I had done things the right way than any kind of instruction manual for me. It was still interesting. And validating. #40-2023
So Faith‘s new man, Aiden, just mentioned that he never did cocaine because of what happened to Regina Morrow in Sweet Valley High, which is the SAME reason I‘ve never done the devil‘s dandruff! Also, I was on the Reading Team in high school, not really the cocaine crowd. I‘ve never even had the opportunity to say no, but I would have! RIP Regina!
I‘ve read many historical fiction novels, but none about the IRA. This was great writing and I kept wanting more. I don‘t understand how someone in the “witness protection program” can have contact with anyone from their former life, that part left me with a facepalm. Book #40 in 2023
