“Some broken things stay broken.”

I keep on forgetting to post about this book…Maybe it‘s because it was so good, but I finally finished this series. It was so good, I love all of Holly Black‘s writing. I love how she wrote it in Oak‘s perspective this time. (I was rushing to finish Stolen Heir before the New Year so I could read the Prisoner‘s Throne😂)
This is my first #AuldLangSpine @Clare-Dragonfly
I just got @Clare-Dragonfly #AuldLineSpine list and I‘m so excited!!
I also love Holly Black and I‘ve really been looking forward to The Prisoner‘s Throne. I think The Stolen Heir is going to be my December read!!
The two I am looking forward to are the Prisoner‘s Throne and the Mystical Stitches.
“We do not love because people deserve it—nor would I want to be loved because I was the most deserving of some list of candidates. I want to be loved for my worst self as well as my best. I want to be forgiven my flaws.”
❤️❤️❤️❤️ I in short inhaled this one. Definitely a one sitting read. I love the world building. I love the characters. Honestly Holly Black is the measure I use for any fae related series...
I finally got my hands on The Prisoner‘s Throne and read it so fast I didn‘t even have time to update any of my various book related social media. But don‘t these all look beautiful on the shelf together?
#serieslove2024 The new Holly Black book was pretty good. I wanted Wren‘s POV, but this one was told by Oak so we learn more about his motivations and plans. Lots of attempts to fix things from book 1 and right the wrongs. That super abrupt ending makes me think there‘s going to be another book? ⭐️⭐️⭐️
At first I was disappointed this wasn‘t a dual POV for Wren and Oak but I got over it 🙂 I really enjoyed learning more about Oak and getting time with his dysfunctional family❤️❤️ Jude and Cardan 🙌🏾🙌🏾 the last half of the book had me totally stressed out and I really hope that ending means future books in this series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Holly Black has done it again! Not that there was EVER any doubt. I could barely put this down and it was so satisfying. Love Oak and Wren (and Jude and Cardan and all the rest)!
This was a very satisfying conclusion to Wren and Oak‘s story, but what I love most is how we get to continue with these characters in future books. Holly has already indicated that we will see more of Jude and Cardan in a future book. Sign me up!
As one of my favorite authors, Holly Black did not disappoint with this one. I highly recommend!
I‘m always happy to get snippets of Cardan… I just love that elf king!
Looking forward to seeing how Suren and Oak‘s story continues.
