Who else shopped to support their favorite indie bookstore yesterday? Libro.fm for audiobooks and bookshop for shipped books are also great ways to support them. And if cost is a factor, Thriftbooks, eBay, PangoBooks, and Goodwill are also great alternatives to supporting amazon. (Bitch was a free arc.)
It was good, a little overloaded between the plot & the magic system (a few things seemed convoluted). The characters were relatable & the metaphor to real world prejudice & atrocities came across well.
YA urban fantasy. Humans & Witchers live together. Power struggle.
Venus is an illegal brewer of love potions. Janus is her spunky headstrong sister.
The magic & world are interesting, the bad guys are identified & a mystery is at the heart of it. Who killed their mom!
Venus has 1 job to do, protect her sister & kill whoever killed her mon & make potions for politicians. She‘s got a lot on her plate.
Funny, cute & a lot of fun!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2

Listening to this audiobook and putting together these cute Lego flowers I picked up at Costco.
