pickLow pick. Picked this up because it was on KU and goodreads had it rated as a buzzy book for the goodreads challenge.
This is my first book by this author and it was good. It‘s a bit dark based on trauma. It‘s a best friends little sister romance trope.
I tried to pick up the second book, but it had the same exact dialogue as this one… so idk if I‘ll read more.

I rarely read straight romance novels- I usually like my romance in worlds with magic and dragons. 😂🤷🏼♀️This one was a guy bent on vengeance and a girl with lots of trauma becomes collateral damage. Some spice 🌶️ and I think the rest of the series follows some of the other characters we meet in this one. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2
pickAnother new series I started and have fallen in love with. An enemies to lovers story with a little twist towards the end. The plot was good. However, it was the characters I fell for. Will definitely read the rest of the series. 4⭐️

Usually, I need more than “Beauty and the Beast“ for me to buy into a romance.
This one did have a protective “big brother“ mixed into the storyline.
Yet what intrigued me was the catch-line, “He Has A Heart of Ice...But For Her, He'd Burn The World.“
What kind of lady does that make me!?! 😂🤔.

OMG. I just finished twisted love and thought. What if Alex Volkov had a soft spot for cats? Imaging a scene where Ava sees that the impassive (at least, on the outside) Alex freaking Volkov had a soft spot for cats because [spoiler] his sister had a cat!? Aaaahhhhhh 😭. I need this tho.
