3✨ Finished this story as I repaired my kiddos panda from a vicious loving dog attack. We have two sisters who don‘t see each other much because of their life choices after their mothers loss with cancer, and their brothers depression. Meeting for the holiday when one sister is in bed rest for her pregnancy. Loved the ending. 🥰🐼❤️‍🩹

Audio repairing one of my kiddos Christmas stuffies the dogs decided was a chew toy. In the new year I‘m going to need to master an invisible stitch and train my puppies better in knowing what is a chew toy and what isn‘t. (For the record none of their chew toys are stuffed animals). Suggestions?

Ruthiella I have no suggestions. With my dogs I gave them alternatives, like rawhide or nala bones which didn‘t always work. Really it took maturity to make them stop. 😂 3d
Roary47 @Ruthiella Maturity I‘m hoping will come a little more quickly. They got a Barbie that S just got. 😭 2d

After a while, the FMC's unforgiving attitude towards people in her past/tendency to blame them for all her life problems did start to grate on me. At some point, you have to acknowledge that you are an adult and have been for over a decade. YOU are in charge of your life/actions now. But on the whole, a perfectly pleasant if most-forgettable kind of read. I'm not sure I'll reread it, but I'll probably pick up the sequel.

julieclair Too bad… the cover looks so totally perfect! 5d
TheAromaofBooks @julieclair - It was perfectly fine, just not magical. It may have suffered because I read it so shortly after reading The Book Club Hotel, which I just loved 😂 I'm reading this book's sequel right now (The December Market) and enjoying it more than Shelter Inn, so maybe I was just in a mood 😆 4d
julieclair 😂😂 #BookMoods… I can relate!! 4d

I've said it before and I'll say it again: RaeAnne Thayne does not miss. Loved the setting, loved Natalie and Griffin reconnecting, loved that the characters feel like humans and not sanitized collections of traits. A Hallmark movie in book form. #christmasromance #contemporaryromance
