While very different, both of these books are about three sisters who are witches. I highly recommend both books. #three #witchyreads
I bought it for the cover! 😍😍
It was fast-paced, which I really liked, but I feel there were a few things that were lacking. I wanted more in the area of character development. I feel like the author just barely touched the surface of each character and it made it somewhat difficult to connect the each person. Overall, I liked the initial story!
This was an entertaining read and a good palate cleanser but not much more. The plot seemed a bit weak for a novel and what really bugged me were the numerous grammatical mistakes (poor editing?). Still, the story and characters kept me interested and I think I‘ll continue with the series.
I‘m not really in a reading slump but somehow I‘m kind of impatient with my books at the moment if you know what I mean: Nothing really seems to live up to some weird impossible standard I‘m currently applying. 🤷🏻♀️ Hope this one here is a good palate cleanser and will get me back on track. 😊
Apparently there was a theme to my reading this year.
Wohee! It‘s here, @heylaurenmack ! 😊 Thank you so much! I‘ve been eyeing this book for quite a while and so I was super happy when I opened the package. We‘ll see how long I can resist abandoning my current read and diving into this one immediately. Thanks! 🤗😘 #allhallowsreadbookexchange
Of the three books and seven short stories I read this month, these were my favorites. I guess I was in a witchy, Irish mood. #bestofjune #junebookbugs
Starting this on kindle. I guess I'm in a witchy mood, since I'm also reading Goblet of Fire and just finished the first book in the Lainswich Witches series.
