1. Several years ago I developed a personal holiday tradition. On the way home from Christmas Eve service, I take a different route so I can see a historic bridge that‘s decorated with lights. I like to park across the street and sit quietly in my car for a few moments of calm and peace.

2. I‘m looking forward to reading the tagged book once I finish December book club selections.

The body of eighteen-year-old TV personality Caitlin is found abandoned on a remote beach at the head of A Loch Dubh - the Black Loch - on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis. I loved it! The best thing to do is to read the old books and then continue with this one. So many characters from back in the days, and so much history. This book was great, but also heartbreaking. Peter May is a magnificent writer, and his characters are so believable and flawed that sometimes it chills my bones. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️#netgalley

Oh WOW!!! Book number 4 in the Lewis trilogy (all trilogies seem to be 4 or 5 books nowadays… 🫣). But, tbh this is one of my top three trilogies of all time!!! So, thinking I need to reread. Rarely do it, but seems appropriate now.
