1. Something new for me in the new year is truly standing for what I believe in and being as kind to anyone I come on contact with. I want to be more patient in all aspects.
2. Something I am grateful for this week is life and all that God has blessed me with.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Poison's kiss was Thrilling. A girl who has a kiss of death known as a visha kanya, a boy she falls in love with, all the sacrifices and betrayal at every turn as well as a snake king! 🐍💔 *Chapter 13 was my Fav* These books were so hard to put down. In Poison's cage the story continues from Marinda and Iyla's point of view and while I will say Iyla annoyed me at first I grew to love her. The ending made me cry and smile at the same time.
I really enjoyed this book, and I‘m glad I have the sequel ready to go! It was a unique story with enough action, conflict and a little romance to keep it interesting and page turning. I‘m curious to see where things go from here...
I really enjoyed this story. There were a couple of twists I didn‘t see coming and I will definitely read the sequel!
Wasn't sure I'd like this one, but I'm getting into it! Wonder if I can finish it tonight?
This book has been on my tbr for just over a year, and I'm finally starting it. Not sure what I think yet.
I was pretty sure I knew how this one was going to go, and I wasn't far wrong, but it was still fun to see how the story played out. The love Marinda has for her little brother is really what hold this together and moves it along, but the details get really interesting towards the end of the book. I'll be interested to see how the sequel turns out.
This was so prettily written and there was some dark stuff and crazy stuff and lies and truths and holy crap!
I loved Marinda (although i called her Miranda until that scene in the cave😂) but I hated how pathetic she was for the first half of the book.
overall, however, it was full of rich descriptions and lush mythologies and characters who are flawed in so many ways and mythical creatures that could swallow a person whole.
I loved it. 4.5⭐️
It was ok I guess. It is quite commercial, so don't expect a lot of original elements. ⭐

Really enjoyed this book. However I wish they indulged more into the world hopefully the next ones explain and expands upon it. I liked the characters but I found Deven's character lacking... didn't feel much of anything towards him but I hope the next one delivers. Over all I still I enjoyed it.
A good debut! I really enjoyed this! The world building is beautiful! I wish I would've connected with the characters a bit more though. I will definitely be reading book 2.
