This was so much fun! I had a really good time with that crew. The mix of fun, emotion and action was perfectly balanced, at least for me. I do have a soft spot for heist movies and books, so this was totally up my sleeve anyway. The diversity was so great and it was neat reading the German translation using neopronouns. So, I would totally watch a movie version of this or read a prequel, sequel or whatever. I hope the characters are doing fine.

So I'm reading Hammajang Luck, loving it and coming across a sweet dish called Malasadas. They sound amazing, they look amazing, I want to taste them. Sadly, no Hawaiian dishes in Switzerland. And no baking skills on my side...

This was a fun heist in space novel. I very much did get the Ocean's 8 vibe and will probably watch that movie again since finishing this. Edie and the crew are all fun characters to hang out with and I enjoyed seeing a futuristic Hawaiian diaspora. I feel like this book is the best sort of embodiment of Be gay. Do Crimes.

Reminded me a lot of the Ocean's films.

The world-building was good.

The ending felt rushed.
