This is absolutely the worst of this series oh my GOD. I found Cam to be insufferable, and if you‘d told me I‘d feel bad for a MAN right now?? I know Dusty‘s fictional but good lord he deserves better, even if he was starting to annoy me a little too.

I‘ll probably read another Lyla Sage book, but this was a bad ending to a decently entertaining series.

Longest - The Dark Forest at 512, Death's End is about to beat it very soon.

Prettiest - I'm just obsessed with the cover art on the Rebel Blue Ranch books.

Made You Cry - Love and Other Words. How this character handled the grief of losing both parents, both at a different time at a young age, was eerily similar to my experiences.

Sequel - Teddy and Gus 🥰😍

Laugh - Dungeon Crawler Carl was so much fun. 😂

I know a book has my attention where I am so busy reading I'm not thinking of any quotes to highlight.

Dusty .... I just love him. He has this steadfast kindness about him that even during some more emotional moments, he never loses whereas Cam. There were moments where I wanted to throttle her and while I couldn't get behind her motivations or reasons for her character, all in all I really enjoyed this book and loved their story.

I'm so sad that this series is coming to an end. 🥲 Lyla Sage has me in a choke hold. I will read anything she comes out with.

This cowboy romance series was 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 across the board for me.

This started strong but veered off course 2/3 of the way through. I also never really felt Cam as a character nor understood Dusty‘s love. Dusty was great though. 3⭐️ Just ok.

I love this series. I will read anything Lyla Sage writes at this point, but two things really grated my nerves: he affectionately ‘flicks her nose‘ and I‘m telling ya, I‘ll come out swinging if my husband ever picks up that habit; secondly, the reason the FMC gets angry near the end of the book (the third act almost breakup) is RIDICULOUS 🙄🙄🙄. The book is still a pick, still a win, and I loved it. 🤷🏼‍♀️🫶

This may have been my favorite of this series, though I‘ve loved them all. The western setting, blood and found family, finding your true purpose, all while taking care of each zither equals my kind of book! This releases on April 15th and I think it is one for everyone!
