My favorite childhood book!! This F story by Max Lucado and illustrated by Sergio Martinez tells the story of wooden people who are constantly judged by their peers. If they are seen as good or pretty they receive a gold star but if they are seen as lesser than others, the wooden people receive a grey dot. Punchinello ends up meeting his maker and is told that he is special no matter what the others think.
pickMy priest talked about this book in the ho.liy this weekend so had to check it out from the library to read. What a great message.
