I have listened to three of Khaw‘s earlier novels— she writes well & always has an intriguing premise. This latest is no exception, though despite the great performance, the cast size made me wish to have physically read this instead. There‘s plenty of action, but it‘s a bit light on explanations, making it hard to feel truly invested in the characters as they struggle to survive their own magical graduation. #AudioColoring

What a completely gripping #audiobook! I found myself listening at every opportunity as the tension & menace mounts. With multiple narrators & performers, the high production quality adds to the book‘s strength. While the story revolves around a Hudson Valley serial killer, it‘s really the tale of the women around him. Chillingly tense, this debut makes me excited to dive into Michallon‘s next book! #AudioColoring

I really enjoy Saint‘s Greek mythology retellings! This time, she writes from Hera‘s perspective. Often coming across as the villain, Saint rounds her out here and makes her motivations as more than simple jealousy. Including many of my favorite stories, I enjoyed the narrator‘s performance and this fresh take on these familiar tales! I can‘t wait to see what Saint will write next!! #AudioColoring

I can‘t believe my binge of the #DragonJoustersSeries is over! I enjoyed the series overall, though this last one was probably my least favorite with the introduction of a rather clumsy love triangle taking up all together too much space. But I liked the new dragon jousters and while it was an ending, it still felt like the series could continue on from here. I would read on, even if I do prefer the Valdemar series! #AudioColoring

Tonight, I was #audiocoloring this picture while listening to the tagged book for the #whimsicalreadsbookclub. I just started coloring this picture. I‘ve been liking this digital coloring. It‘s going to take me awhile to get finished but I‘m happy with how it looks so far. I think this bird is a goose but it‘s not a normal one because it has a lot of details.

I‘m almost done with this picture I started coloring this month. I colored more of this picture while I was listening to The Amityville Horror by Jay Anson. I had 2 hours left in the audiobook so I decided to finish listening to the book this afternoon.
