Suspenseful and character-driven, it has one of the most realistic endings to a thriller I‘ve ever read (though no less horrific).

Reminded me of this book:

Is it just me or is this slow, without a whole lot of plot line? Maybe I just don‘t appreciate it but it seems the writing is simplistic. I‘m half way through and uninterested in finishing, even though I need to for party book club. Also reading #beforethefall since that was my pick fir April 9‘s serious book club‘s meeting. I have to finish that before returning to this since I‘m hosting!

The plot was great. I kept listening because I was so intrigued by it! The side stories, a little too much. I just felt my self getting lost in who was who and why all if the side info was relevant.

Reading this was a beyond enriching reading experience, I could never properly express how impressed I am with this book. The best book I've read this whole year. There is something so heartbreaking about finishing a good story, my only complaint is that it had to end #beforethefall #noahhawley
