‘Morning all!
Finished my trip and returned to 2 Litsy packages! 👏🏼👏🏼 one is #AHRS #AllHallowsReadSwap and the other… I‘m guessing #HHS? #HauntedHollowSwap #HHS24 @LeslieO ?
Also audio-read Starter Villains on my drive - it was good! Fun, not *exactly* as I‘d have liked. 😜 But ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
And started and aaalmost finished the tagged… just about an hour left!
Happy fall weekend! Hope your weather is crisp!

Adding to my year-of-disappointing-books is this novella with an interesting concept. I was invested in the story and the characters until the end, which I found disappointing. I‘m not sure how it could have ended any other way and still made sense, but it felt both too tidy and like Sanderson was trying too hard to be clever.
I had so much fun unexpectedly binging this series! And I am absolutely ecstatic to learn that this isn‘t the end for these characters! This conclusion nicely ties together the books with multiple perspectives as they face the Superiority with allies by their side. It‘s a great listen and once again, I just couldn‘t stop! Owen was very happy about the extra long walks! I appreciate the descriptions of the illustrations but still want to see them!
3✨The last book from the kickstarter that Sanderson did. Nomad the wanderer to me is someone who doesn‘t want to keep running from world to world, but he is trying to escape his past that keeps following him. He is a good soul because his current world he stops at proves to be inhabited by an enslaved people. Very well developed world that this author is really good with. Story line that has the reader wanting justice for those that are wronged.⬇️
Probably an unpopular opinion but I wasn‘t super jazzed about this read. I really liked Lift for the one chapter in Words of Radiance and it‘s not to say I don‘t like the character now but I it didn‘t enjoy a whole book where I felt the character did only a minor bit of development and the rest was just kinda fluff. I‘m sure I‘ll feel differently when I read the next book as many say this is an important read for the rest of the series
