Also, I apparently read this a few years ago, and only realised this due to looking it up on litsy to mark it as currently reading when I started it.

TheBookgeekFrau lol - I hate when I do that 😅 1w
Suet624 Did you like it the last time you read it? 1w
Purpleness @Suet624 I think so, but I don‘t remember it well, hence picking up another copy 1w

Bass reflects on the many facets of Jesus as she shares bits from her own spiritual life. Sort of a combination of memoir, theology, and mysticism. It focuses on those experiential ways that Jesus interacts with us and guides us, leading to a more encompassing view of Jesus.

A book that reminds me of Easter is this one. It has been in my TBR forever!

I am a layperson and don‘t have the educational background to make theological debates on points within the book. I can say that the book presented different aspects of Christ‘s humanity clearly and understandably. I am the type of person who loves to ask why and this book helped me think through lots of questions I had. I read it slowly and reflected on chapters, paragraphs, and even sentences for days!

Books finished during quarantine! Should be released tomorrow assuming today‘s test is negative. #quarantinereads

BookNightOwl Which one was your favorite? 4y
charl08 Fingers crossed for a negative result 4y
Purpleness @charl08 Thanks! 4y
Purpleness @BookNightOwl It‘s hard to say because they‘re all so different. I had forgotten how much I like Edward Rutherford, though, so maybe Russka? 4y
