I am a layperson and don‘t have the educational background to make theological debates on points within the book. I can say that the book presented different aspects of Christ‘s humanity clearly and understandably. I am the type of person who loves to ask why and this book helped me think through lots of questions I had. I read it slowly and reflected on chapters, paragraphs, and even sentences for days!
Books finished during quarantine! Should be released tomorrow assuming today‘s test is negative. #quarantinereads
Interesting information, but the first 100 pages (on the origins/credibility of the Gospels) went on a tad too long - definitely had more of a “textbook“ feel than the latter half of this book or Pitre's Jesus and the Jewish Roots of Mary. Still an interesting, accessible read.
