What?!? It's the same book! 😱 Didn't I mention this was her #DebutNovel as well as a great #ClassicCharacter & #AntiHeroOrFlawedCharacter for the other challenge. Oops! Props to Mary Shelley, who won the writing challenge among friends & got a story that's endured through the ages!

Since it's the month of Oct I'm going to go for a Halloween themed #ClassicCharacter that has also become a great #AntiHeroOrFlawedCharacter. When writers sat around challenging each other to write a scary story, I'm sure none of them guessed that Mary's would endure this long, and be translated into so many versions & adaptions. Indeed a classic!
Still catching up on the #Octphotochallenge! I picked Jane Eyre for my #classiccharacter because I love how principled she is, and the book is one that inspires me every time I read it in a different way. Vicious is one of those #antihero books that I would love to read over and over. I enjoyed it so much!

For #classiccharacter I'm going with Melanie Hamilton. I didn't really care for Melanie (in book or movie) when I was younger. As an adult, I see how loving, kind and strong she really is and I love her. I feel a reread and rewatch coming on in the future. #octphotochallenge
My favorite #classiccharacter is a bit of a cheat and I'm picking the whole Finch family. I remember first reading To Kill a Mockingbird in high school and being moved not just by the story, but by the family unit. Not to say that they're perfect, but the love and respect they have for one another only made me love them more. #octphotochallenge
For today's #classiccharacter I have to choose the one and only Scarlett O'hara. She's one of my favorite female protagonists ever. She's vain and selfish but she's also brave and strong and protective of her family. #octphotochallenge
I know I'm not very original in choosing Mr. Darcy as my #classiccharacter, but it can't be helped. Love him!
