I love the world building, I love the character development, the action is great, the magic is great, the cover is gorgeous and there is a map. Awesome! I think some characters were waisted but Tomi Adeyemi probably had good reasons for that
pickAbout two-thirds of the way into this book I nearly bailed, because it lost a lot of its momentum. Fortunately, things picked up again for a strong finish, which saved me from ranking it as so-so.
